Fraud-Fighter™ has partnered with one of the nation’s leading providers of cash-register receipt paper rolls to enable retailers to utilize our Fraud-Fighter™ UV detectors to aid in the fight against return-receipt fraud - a nationwide problem plaguing retailers that is predicted to exceed $20 Billion in 2007.
Using specialty printing techniques, our partner can work with any retailer to add a customized security feature to their cash-register receipts which can only be viewed when placed under one of our low-cost Fraud-Fighter™ units. This technique will add a fractional cost to the per-register-receipt cost.
This partnership adds another point to the already overwhelming argument about why retailers should place our equipment in their locations. One simple product, which requires almost no training, no internet or network connections, and simply plugs-in and is turned-on in the morning can be used to prevent losses resulting from fraudulent payments (currency, traveler checks, money orders, credit cards), enables the retailer to verify identification of the individuals conducting business with them (driver licenses, state ID cards, Matricula Consular, Passports), and can now be used to help put a stop to return receipt fraud.
