Fraud-Fighter Units Increase Check-out Speed

While talking to our contacts in the grocery and retail industries who have been conducting widespread trials of our _Model UV-16, we were gratified to hear them tell us what we have been saying all along – use of our equipment actually speeds-up the checkout counter. The brief time required to place items under the UV illumination is more than made-up by the fact that cashiers are empowered to make decisions regarding suspicious or unusual items and do not need to call for approval from the floor manager.
The common misconception has been that using the Fraud-Fighter™ scanner at retail POS stations could potentially slow the throughput of customers. This fallacy was based on the assumption that cashiers would need to individually place currency notes and other items into the unit, and line them up with template we have provided to ensure proper location of the security feature. In fact, this is not necessary. Any cashier can, after 2-3 minutes of practice, learn to simply present the bill under the UV illumination and look to see if the fluorescing strip appears. One needs not line-up the security strip with the currency template. After a little practice and familiarity, multiple bills can be fanned-out and tested simultaneously.
"The best time-saving principal" says one of our customers at a leading national department store, "is that use of the machines will cause bad guys to stop attempting to pass fraudulent items." This will, in turn, lead to fewer suspicious items being presented, and that, in turn, will lead to quicker throughput times.
